Born and raised in Hackney, Shamim Mulla started her Montessori journey as a classroom assistant in 1997. A trained Montessori directress since 2001, in 2014 Shamim took her years of academic management and experience working directly with children and found Grace Montessori school, with her close knit team of caring staff, pours into it her knowledge, passion and enthusiasm.
After nearly two decades of training and practice, Shamim has seen first hand how the Montessori philosophy aids in unfolding each child’s unique potential. She has five children of her own, and they are the inspiration in her life. Shamim says, “Each child is unique in their own way, we adults are their guides, and it is our responsibility to provide the right environment for these little buds to blossom.”
Shamim’s school, Grace Montessori, is the ideal place for children to play, learn and develop through their childhood journey as they lay their foundations for life.
